The BER Assessment for an Existing Dwelling consists of;

  1. Dwelling Survey more
  2. BER Certificate more
  3. Advisory Report this is an auto generated report accompanying the BER Cert containing some generic advice from SEI on insulation and draught proofing. more
  4. Recommendation Report. This is a custom report from Enrate containing some specific advice for you relating to your particular property to improve its energy rating. It also calculates the potential cost savings to be made through lower fuel bills if you were to implement a few changes. A more comprehensive detailed version is also available. However, even though the BER Certificate itself is a legal requirement there is no obligation on you to make any changes or to implement any of the suggestions in either report. more

Before & After BER

This service is offered in conjunction with the SEI Home Energy Saving Scheme, and attracts a grant of €100. It applies where upgrade work is being considered for properties built before 2006 to bring them up to current standards of energy efficiency. more

With over 20 years experience in construction and a particular interest in the emerging renewable "green" technologies, Clive is well placed to advise on how best to make the cost effective improvements to your property which will save you money. Sales and marketing are handled by Eithne Dalby. Enrate is fully accredited and registered with SEI, and a member of the BER Assessors Association of Ireland.

Any information submitted by you will not be shared with any third party, except for data collected pertaining to a completed BER assessment which will become the property of Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) which is the issuing authority for BER Certificates. The BER result or grade only (being represented by a letter on a scale of A - G) which appears on the BER Certificate and the advisory report will be published on the SEI National Database and will be accessible to the public on the SEI website.
